Diane Walsh lived in London England and Vera Spain throughout 2004. During this time she covered several aspects of political and cultural life. If this is of interest some clips are available upon request. This 2004 extended stay morphed out of an original 6-week sponsored trip in Jan. 2001 including special visits to France, Ireland, Scotland.

Video coverage (London England) archived including anti-war demonstration in the streets of Central London, more than 100,000 activists. Interviews with OXFAM street canvassers (North London district) "Perspectives on the war" series, February, 2004.

Interview with Manager, OXFAM outreach office, Edgware (Middlesex) England, February 2004. Led to a proposal initiative for consideration at OXFAM Canada, May 2004: to open an outreach office in BC. Never materialized.

Offered a PhD candidacy at James Cook University. January 2002.
